The third annual MARC Cataloging Academy, presented by Dr. Joanna F. Fountain and Region One ESC, took place July 25-27, at the Edcouch-Elsa H.S. Library.  The Academy provided area librarians with an overview and review of best practices for school catalogs which are the electronic "card" catalogs that library patrons use to find library materials.  Dr. Fountain's extensive knowledge on the subject and superb delivery resulted in a highly enlightening three day "summer camp" for the librarians who attended.
