WED. MARCH 4 -- EEHS Students have won a finalist spot in a national competition for their development of special scissors which they call "arthriscissors" that help people with arthritis. The students are: Javier Cantu, Noemi Martinez, Maria Garcia, Antonio Martinez, Carlos Saenz and Joe De La Pena. The Solar Car team became a NEDC Finalist at a recent competition, and earned a trip to Washington, D.C. Solar Car team members can be seen working on the car at the Vocational Building, usually after school and weekends. See the video thanks to The Monitor Newspaper, McAllen, TX.
